Ragazzi, volevo condividere con voi la gioia per stare a "lavorare" cn due grandi musicisti come Angelo Skettino e Giuseppe Iaia. Mizzica che TIRO tutti e due... accipikkia... vanno presi con le molle perché il loro groove spinge tantissimo. Avevo studiato le nuove canzoni perché fossero elettroniche, ma al contempo, sotto sotto, fossero eseguibili scientemente anche da un quartetto di musici armati di tenacia e scrupolosa pazienza per inventare/imparare le parti.
Non sono facili, le parti di sto disco che sto elaborando. E non è facile mettere insieme il tutto. Non è facile, ma non è detto che non sia bellissimo. Personalmente mi sto molto divertendo a provare con Giuseppe e Angelo, due caratteri diversi, ma due talenti, almeno credo. Dico "almeno credo" perché non sono io a poter giudicare nessuno. Lungi da me. Ma son certo che avrete la mia stessa sensazione, quando li sentirete. Questi due son nati per suonare. Ci unisce il lato estetico, molto discutibile, la puntigliosità (che in musica si traduce in ore di maniacali prove e contro-prove), la voglia di fare musica. Vabbè, ho detto troppo, come dice Stipe in Losing My religion ("Oh no, I’ve said too much"). Lasciamo sia la musica a parlare, anzi i tempi "duri" (come recita il titolo) di questa solida componente ritmica che La Resistenza sta costruendo per il 2011. Enrico, Angelo, Giuseppe. Manca un chitarrista, per ora. Che magari sappia mettere due note sulla tastiera e fare un po' di coretti. In attesa di Alessandro Mitrugno, chissà non si trovi un amico in giro per il contado.
